There are a multitude of earn money online scams, all disguised as being a great and easy way to make money. Millions fall for them every day and come away wiser, and usually poorer too. It isn't too difficult to spot a scam online. As a rough rule of thumb: if it looks too good to be true, then it most likely is too good to be true! A fairly common way that the earn money online scams start out is to tell you that you don't have to know anything or do anything to earn thousands. Think about that for a moment... If you know nothing and do nothing, how do you think you can possibly earn a single penny? Yes, we all like to get something for nothing, but we usually have to be realistic too. Offers that tell you that you need no computer knowledge or Internet knowledge, and that the time involved will only be an hour or so a day - and you will earn thousands too - are usually scams. Look into them by all means, but be very wary of parting with any money. Don't be fooled by thinking that the Internet is all-powerful. It is a powerful tool, but that's all it is - a tool. In order to make money online, you have to use it like any other tool and actually put in some of that dreaded four-letter word: "work"! Other earn money online scams are more believable. They sound more promising and they don't usually offer you a fortune, just a good living. Millions fall for these scams too. You often can make some money with them, but usually nowhere near the claimed amount. Filling in surveys fall into this category. It works to some degree, but do you know anyone who is rich from filling in surveys, and doing nothing else? Neither do I. Many of the earn money online scams prey on those who are desperate. They resonate with such people by telling stories of how they too were down and out, living in the gutter, just a few years ago. Then they discovered whatever scam they are promoting, and it changed everything overnight. Now it can change your life too! If you are desperate, maybe lost your job, your home and perhaps your family, I guess you would take a second look at such a scam. That will take you five minutes, then all you need do is sit back and collect that fat check every month from Google. If only... Remember, millions of people lose their hard-earned money every day to scammers. Be careful how you spend your money, and check out every offer very, very thoroughly before trying it. |
